With high school students Citrus RibbonI made it.
In an attempt to spread understanding to high school students in young areas, interact clubs from University of Japan Mishima High School and Totoku High School also participated. I would like to visit the city hall with my students and donate the completed ribbon to Mishima City. Not only rotarians but also each high school student participated in this activity, which was meaningful because they understood the SDGs initiatives and the philosophy of citrus ribbons.

I went to present the activity support money. I'm looking forward to reporting on the activities of high school students.

In the midst of the cold winter winds, we held a polio eradication street fundraiser. Many people donated money, partly because of the efforts of interact students. The air was very cold, but I was warmed by the smiles and cheers of the customers who donated money.

2019Interact leadership seminar was held at Izu General Hall on November 17, 2008
The host high school is Izu Sogo High School. The host club is Izu Chuo RC.
It was reported that students of Izu Sogo High School conducted service activities in Izu City under the theme of "creating a project where 10 people gather 100 times more than an event where 1,000 people gather". I thought it was a wonderful project. When I learned once again that interact departments are working hard to do small service activities, I thought that Rotary's interact was a project that gave young people a sense of service and to think and act on their own.

In hopes of eradicating polio, we held a charity concert called "Segawa Gen & Kasai Kako Piano and Flute Evening". The combined project of the Rotary Club of Mishima, the Rotary Club of Mishima West, and the Rotary Club of Seseragi was a result that far exceeded the target number. 2019On October 28, 2009, the three clubs jointly held a polio extinction charity concert titled "Segawa Gen and Kasai Kako Piano & Flute Evening". Participating clubs are the Rotary Club of Mishima West and the Rotary Club of Seseragi. And my is the Rotary Club of Mishima. Half of the admission fee for the concert was donated as a fundraising for the Polio Extinction Charity. 9On April 4, a joint table meeting was held at the Club Training Leaders Committee, the Fellowship Committee, and the Membership Retention Committee.
There, the 200% night meeting to be held on September 18 was discussed. The purpose is "acquisition of new members". One active Rotarian attended the meeting with at least one acquaintance of the potential members. Because it becomes twice the usual number of people, it is 200% meeting. The idea of Mr. Hoshiai, the chairman of the Fellowship, who wanted to motivate first-time Rotary meetings to understand the fun and significance of Rotary and to join.
On the day, there will be a talk between Club Training Leader Michiko Koguchi and Member Enhancement And Maintenance Chairperson Kawada.

12In July, we held a meeting to visit our sister club, the 65th anniversary of The 65th Anniversary of Shintake Shintake Fuwasha in Taiwan. On the 60th anniversary of the Founding of the Rotary Club of Mishima, we were seen by a large number of Shintake members. Let us also visit and celebrate with as many members as possible.
Attendees: Chairman Kiyoshi Sugiyama, Committee Member Yoshiya Inaba, Committee Chairman Yoshihiro Hoshia, Chairman Morihiro Aoda, and Secretary Keiichiro Sumimoto.

We went to Mishima Rotary as the host club, students and teachers of University Mishima High School and Chitoku High School, as well as Horiuchi, chairman of the Mishima RC Youth Service Committee, and Shingo Kato, a district committee member.
Under the theme of "What is happiness?", there was a screening of the movie "Yi-chan's White Wand", and it was a recorded film of 20 years of younger brother who was blind by nature and severely disabled by nature. We divided into groups and had a discussion about what happiness is. Finally, I announced it for each table and had various ideas. Happiness is different from person to person. Happiness is a healthy and peaceful life. And so on...
It was a fulfilling day, with many things to be aware of and thought about, knowing that there is happiness that cannot be seen by healthy people.
I thought it was a good opportunity for high school students to look at themselves again.

Youth service activities
I recently visited two Interact club schools supported by the Rotary Club of Mishima on July 10. The visitors were Mr. Kogo Kato, chairman of the Service Project Committee, and Mr. Makiko Horiuchi, Chairman of the Youth Service Committee. The chairman, Morihiro Aota, and Keiichiro Sumimoto, secretary. We have given 100,000 yen to each school.Thank you very much from each schooland promised to be used meaningfully.
